Unit 4
Aspirin Titration Lab
Abstract
We tested 2 types aspirin low and regular to see the difference and how they work.
We tested 2 low and regular type of aspirin and how fast they would turn pink or would react we tested it with a tall flask filled with NaOH that would drip on a cylinder with crushed aspirin inside. What the results were it took a lot of NaOH for it to turn light pink . As i read an article i noticed the word titration and what the meaning of that word is a process of figuring out how much of a substance with a known volume so which that means you have to give a guessed amount of a substance for it to work. While my group was figuring out how much we would need i had to help get some other supplies we needed for this lab. This technique is to see how strong it is and its reaction. |
